High voltage power cable up to 132kV
Construction
Conductor: Plain circular compacted copper or aluminium conductor
Conductor screen: Extruded semiconductive compound
Insulation: Extruded superclean cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) rated 90°C
Insulation screen: Extruded semi-conductive compound. It is firmly bonded to the insulation by virtue of the simultaneous cross linking of insulation
Metallic screen: Concentric round uncoated copper wires applied helically and shall be capable of carrying the required earth-fault current.
Radial water barrier: Laminated aluminium tape applied longitudinally
Outer sheath: Extruded black PE compound
High Voltage Power Cable with Lead Sheath
The overall cable structure is similar to the 132kV power cable.
A layer of extruded lead is applied. It serves as a protection against radial moisture ingress into the cable. It also serves as an earth fault current carrying medium.
High Voltage Power Cable with Milliken Conductor
The overall cable structure is similar to the 132kV power cable.
The conductor of this cable is achieved by using a shaped segmental conductor design. Our design consists of five stranded sector shape conductor segments with one central circular conductor separated by semi-conducting tape used to avoid "Skin Effect" for an improve current carrying capacity. The conductor also features water-sealed properties which prevent moisture ingress into and along the conductor for improved cable reliability and durability.
Medium Voltage Power Cable

Conductor: Plain circular compacted copper or aluminium conductor
Conductor screen: Extruded semiconductive compound
Insulation: Extruded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) rated 90°C
Insulation screen: Non-metallic part - extruded layer of semiconductive compound metallic part - copper tape of 0.1mm nominal thickness
Bedding: Extruded PVC or PE compound
Armour: Round hard drawn aluminium wires applied helically over the bedding
Outer sheath: Extruded PVC or PE compound

Conductor: Plain circular compacted copper or aluminium conductor
Conductor screen: Extruded semiconductive compound
Insulation: Extruded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) rated 90°C
Insulation screen: Non-metallic part - extruded layer of semiconductive compound metallic part - copper tape of 0.1mm nominal thickness

Armour: Galvanized steel wire applied helically over the bedding
Outer sheath: Extruded PVC or PE compound
Low Voltage cable with PVC or XLPE insulation

Insulation: Extruded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) rated 90°C PVC rated 70°C

Single core - Red (black on request)
Two core - Red & Black
Three core - Red, Yellow & Blue
Four core - Red, Yellow, Blue & Black
Assembly: Two, three or four insulated conductors are laid up together, if necessary filled with non-hygroscopic material compatible with the insulation. The filling may be omitted provided the outer shape of the cable remains practically circular and no adhesion occurs between cores and sheath.
