SENIOR EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT MANAGER - HUMAN RESOURCES (1 position) Job Requirements Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management / Management / Business Studies or equivalent. Minimum 3 years experience preferably in unionized manufacturing environment Familiar and well versed with the current Employment Act and Labour Laws and HR spectrum/practices Good command in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia Energetic, dynamic and strong analytical ability with good communication skills Pleasant personality, self-motivated, possess good attitude and interpersonal skills Must be computer literate especially in Microsoft Office Job Description Ensure harmonious union-management industrial relations to maintain mutually beneficial work climate, which include the negotiation and implementation of the Collective Agreement Handle the implementation of the provisions of the Collective Agreement relating to the terms and conditions of employment Develop, implement and monitor training and development programmes to upgrade the skills of employees with the objective of enhancing the Company’s capabilities towards meeting its goals and to improve employee morale Ensure compliance of the legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources function (e.g. Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act, Trade Union Act, EPF, SOCSO, OSHA, etc) Responsible for maintaining effective discipline including consistency in procedures relating to misconduct including instituting appropriate disciplinary action
